This is the first of a trilogy of fantasy/gay-erotica about a band of mages whose power comes from sexual energy - talk about a premise that justifies a lot of sex scenes! The setting's fantasy-medieval, so why the subtitle says "erotic Sci-Fi" I do not know; I don't think a few discussions of herbal remedies and tantric sex somehow turn a fantasy into science fiction. But it works amazingly well, and the personable characters (who are all devastatingly attractive) held my interest whether they were plotting to evade the bad guys or having yet another bout of randy sex. Lots of fun. [Sadly, the three undressed lads on the cover of the book are not to my taste, nor does the cover-pic convey the lusty-fantasy-medieval quality of the book; oh, what a missed opportunity for some fabulous cover art! But I suppose these lads will appeal to some readers, so enjoy. {grin}]
