Synopsis:
Cannie Shapiro never wanted to be famous. The smart, sharp, plus-sized reporter was perfectly happy writing about other people's lives for her local newspaper. I picked up this book because I liked what I read on the back cover.
It's a story about Cannie, a woman just out of a relationship with Bruce - who reads about herself in a magazine article he's written. The article starts 'Loving a larger woman is an act of courage in our world'. (It's also on the back cover)
It took me a good 70 pages to get into the story but when I did, I found that I really did enjoy it. Although just how much bad luck one person can have is a bit dubious.
So, an enjoyable read. Will re-release at some point soon.
