I believe this was my introduction to this series. The books are a quick read and almost always entertaining. I didn't enjoy O is for Outlaw very much as I recall. They go even quicker once you get into them because I can skip the description of the apartment, the bar, the friends, her office, etc because it's the ninth book.

Sent to nut in Ireland.
Thank you!
I got much more into this than the medieval murder mysteries I've read recently.
I didn't like how she dealt with the situation at the end, but either did she, so that's ok.
So irritated by one of the characters - how can you be that self-centred?
This is the only Sue Grafton book I've read. I'd happily read more of this series. It looks like order doesn't matter.

There's a sculpture opposite the gaol (on the other side of the road) of executed leaders of the Easter Rising around the Proclamation of Independence. I left the book on the table-like proclamation.
Here's a photo of the sculpture: http://www.flickr.com/photos/20923094@N04/2601925781/

My couchsufer found this book and couldnt understand, I had heard all about BC so explained it to them.
It prompted them and me to sign up to BC, I had heard a wonderful play on the radio where a book was released at each of the locations in Charing Cross Road book and the finders were to leave their feedback on an answering machine.
I am so happy to find a book myself. It is not a book i will read, but i will re-release it.

So - I was carrying this book around planning to re-release it, and I wound up reading it. Not really the sort of thing i am into but better than staring at my shoes!
