Found this in a charity shop, which is great as was about to shell out a lot more for it on Amazon!
A good book, which grabbed my attention and imagination. I do enjoy historical faction, and this blend of the story of a 14th Century knight, a brief moment between a GI and a local girl and the present day fall out of a high profile affair made it an easy book to get into.
A good book for fans of Philippa Gregory.
Giving to a friend and bookcrosser.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I really enjoy these type of historical fiction books and this one doesn't disappoint. Initially the 'modern-day' story line can be confusing but you quickly learn where it ties in with the rest of the story. It is a really interesting read, particularly as it links into today's climate of war... great read, and i personally found it thought provoking when you get to the end of the book
