Picked this box, packed full of goodies, from Giz-angel this morning. I have taken out: The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie by Muriel Spark The Ground Beneath Her Feet by Salman Rushdie The Girl with the Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier. Will journal again when have decided what to put in. There's also a little bag of goodies to sort through and take what you want. I've added some neat little bookplates. Will PM Hellie for address and try to send the box off before I go on holiday on 8th September, otherwise it will wait until I'm back on the 18th.

this initially arrived while i was away, but it was kept safely by the post office and redelivered today. what a lovely box of goodies! i shall thoroughly enjoy ferretting through it. this is my first bookbox and i'm very excited. i'm already sipping a nice cup of pineapple and grapefruit tea using a teabag someone had kindly put in the box. yummy. will journal again when i've decided what else to take out and add... ok, i've taken out: The Stupidest Angel The Wizards of Odd A Tomb for Boris Davidovich Where Old Bones Lie i've put in: Lieberman's Day by Stuart Kaminsky Prism by Austin Bay Fair Game by Elizabeth Young Call Me Elizabeth by Dawn Annandale i've put in some more fruity tea bags, a couple of bookplates and added a bit to the mailing kitty. I was going to wrap the box in xmas wrapping paper - i thought it might appreciate feeling festive for a while ;-) but i ran out of wrapping. i did find some nice stickers to decorate the box with instead though. i've got caffcaff's address now so i will be mailing the box on 7th december.

CaffCaff clearly has some taping issues..It's taken me about 30mins to get into this box!!! I have finally made up my mind! I took out of the box: Quidditch through the Ages, Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them, Sheep's Clothing, An Alien at St. Wilfred's, The Snow-walker's Son, The Secret Dreamworld of a Shopaholic, and Taking Apart the Poco Poco. I then read two of the books right away so I could put them back in! I put into the box: An Alien at St. Wilfred's, The Snow-walker's Son, The Book of Eve, Spend Game, Lost in a Good Book, More Tales of the City, and The Last Days of Dogtown. I received this today. I have never participated in such a well-traveled bookbox! Woo Hoo and Congratulations to giz-angel! I took out 8 books--a couple just because they'd been in so long--as well as a little notepad and bookstring from the goodie bag.
