I read this a while back and enjoyed it. Going into farawayvoices bookbox.

Morse is one of those characters that I don't know if I like or not. But the books are normally quite good. This one was quite predictable I guessed about the Swedish Maiden halfway through though I got her location wrong.

I enjoyed this,my first `Morse` novel.It took a little while to adjust to the way the book is written but that didn`t distract from the story.
I`ll certainly watch TV adaptations of Inspector Morse with a differant eye now.This book has made me realise what a complex character he is.
