Not a light read, but informative and chilling as you realise how little the lives of these women meant as political pawns and playthings.

A birthday RABCK, thank you it looks really interesting. I have been reading quite a lot of Philippa Gregory recently.
Really well written. Weir manages to keep herself in the background, letting the story tell itself. It slayed a lot of myths that I had heard about the women, especially of Katherine Parr.
