In my humble opinion, one of the best books that have ever been written. It is part of a trilogy of four books, the third part to be more precise.
Arthur Dent, who is the last surviving human being after Earth had had to be removed in favour of an intergalactic highway, finds himself in prehistoric time at the beginning of the story. But of course, if you know his friend Ford Prefect, you know he will surely not stay there for long.

This book has reached cult status and it is a must to read it.

At first, I didn’t want to read the book at all, but then I became intrigued by the story and read it until the end. In the beginning it was a bit difficult because this was the third volume „in a trilogy of four“. I didn’t really know how the whole thing got started. But it is very crazy and very funny.
