As a bookworm, I found this a real word treat. Sara Nelson is a little blasé about books she disliked at times, and some of her criticisms don’t make much sense – she dismissed a biography about Abigail Adams for being “too historical.”

But for loving musings about the physical and emotional side of reading, this is a good choice for people who would no sooner leave the house without a book than they would leave their wallet behind.
