My wife bought this at the Oxfam in Kilburn the other week since it's on my wishlist. It's going on my TBR pile.

Oooh I really enjoyed this book! Since reading "Join Me" by Danny Wallace I'm a big DW fan... This is a really funny book about the real life story of two flatmates' adventures finding 54 other Dave Gormans. I would recommend it to anyone!

Awww - I received this as a RABCK, which was a lovely surprise, but I also received it on a ring a litle while ago, and as a trade a little while before that :oS It's a good job I love this book! My original journal entry (on the trade that became a ring!) is here.

I'm going to carry on the RABCK and find another unsuspecting recipient for this one. Thank you so much michelle1977, and I'm sorry for not keeping my wishlist up to date! (Off to rectify that one now... *blush*)

Thank you so much for sending me this! I've also been a huge fan since reading Join Me. I just finished The Count of Monte Cristo and Anna Karenina, and am currently reading a lighter but also long book- Fingersmith, so this will be a welcome relief when I finish that 800 pager.

I just saw DG on the Daily Show last night. I was surprised to see him there.

From Danny Wallace's girlfriend I got the phrase "Stupid Boy Projects" and now I have several stupid girl projects of my own. But none of them involve the internet or travel abroad. (Too bad about the second part.)

Thanks again, and I'll be sure to keep the book travelling when I finish it.

That was about as interesting a book about finding 54 namesakes as it possibly could have been.

I now need to find Dave a new home. Safe travels!
