Won by Bookgeoi in my '300 books registered International RABCK Draw' so it will be on the way to Finland as soon as my wife has read it and the UK Postal workers are back to work.

My wife has finally finished reading this book. She had rather mixed feelings about it and said she found it difficult to follow in parts.

Now on the way to Finland.

Many thanks for shipping the book, it arrived today and made a nice surprise. Even the postman must have been interested as there was a small peeking hole made at the corner of the envelope :). I think I will save this reading experience for the December holidays and pass this on after that.

Working my way up from the oldest end of my TBR's registered by others. So I pick up this gem and am instantly charmed with this story. The book is delightingly full of British countryside feel, something that I enjoy greatly. This was a beautifully written romantic novel, an emotional description of strong commitment between two people. Not tacky at all. A special touch was brought by the "magic spells" that where nicely entwined to the story. Something I disliked a bit was the political involvement towards the end and the unnecessary contradictions caused by that, this made the story perhaps a bit too long.

This was the first Bingham story for me and I would love to read some of her other novels too. This book will now continue to fellow bookcrossers either in the meet-up or as a RABCK. Thanks again to Ardachy for sharing this.
