This Book is Currently in the Wild!
3 journalers for this copy...
I read this some time ago as a set book in my OU course, and found it very slow moving and didn't entirely enjoy it.
Passing on to Giz-angel.

Well thank you pixie - it's on the BBC top 100 list so I wll read it for my challenge - at least it's a nice small one so I WILL find space for it!
I quite enjoyed this in parts - I found the desriptions interesting and I liked the premise that it wasn't all so one sided as partrayed in Jane Eyre. I found the ending unsatisfactory though... not sure what I wanted, but it was something more definite than I got!

In my mailbox today. Thanks Giz-Angel. Looking forward to reading it, but that may take a while, as after almost one year of bookcrossing I now can say I have a Mount TBR too.

I somehow never got around to pick this one up. It has been a prize in two drawings, but it was not chosen by the winners. Anyhow, it's still on my shelf and it's about time I find a different way to move it along!
Decided to donate it to the 1001-library
July 2008 update:
While waiting for someone to borrow this from the library, which has not happened yet, I've read the book after all. I thought I just could not see this leave my house unread, after it had been on my shelves for so long (two years!). It's only a small book (123 pages, the rest are appendix and notes). To my surprise I quite liked it too! Not a favourite and no page-turner, but a good read. I would rate it 7 out of 10.
January 2010 update:
Need to make room in my bookcase, so this will be withdrawn from the library to release.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Handed over in person to someone who will release it or drop it off in an OBCZ in the Netherlands for me.*)
*)This was my good intention when I made this release note. Forgot to give it to that person after all when she left :-(
Will be released into the wild next time I go to Holland.
