Journal Entry 2 by potok-fan from Turku, Varsinais-Suomi Finland on Tuesday, July 11, 2006
This arrived in the mail today (thanks to the "Her"story relay). It looks tempting - but I've already got a pile of books in our suitcases (we're headed off on vacation tomorrow), including another Erdrich, so this goes on the TBR shelf for a while.

Journal Entry 3 by potok-fan from Turku, Varsinais-Suomi Finland on Sunday, March 29, 2009
Following a thread on bookobsessed (the no-longer-new relay site), I was checking long-unread TBRs, and found this. But I've read this! I don't know how I didn't make a journal entry. It was over a year ago... How I wish I had journalled it then, because now I cannot remember enough details to write a proper JE. I am sorely tempted to put it back on the shelf for re-reading later, and to write about it then. All I dare say now is that I enjoyed reading it. It was strange but also in places gentle and beautiful.
