Grafton has an accurate, wicked eye for California lifestyle and wise-cracking Kinsey is an appealing, nonhackneyed female detective."

I liked this one. I haven't read any of them in order. It's all helter skelter, whatever I can lay my hands on first. This one was good. It's a bit like Anita Blake without vampires and werewolves. Oh, and less killing. But still, likeable heroine, plausible mysteries, easy to read. Still too many too detailed descriptions of what everyone is wearing. "C is for Corpse" and "R is for Ricochet" are still somewhere on my shelf, looking forward to them...

I am getting ready to send the book back home to it's owner. I haven't had time to read it because of personal issues going on in my life. I do believe I've actually read this one before so it's all good.
