Informative and Funny.

The next time I am having serious PMS fueled chocolate cravings and someone suggests that it is
1) In my head and 2) will cause zits

I have some very factual information coming their way. :-) Thanks to the book authors for helping to answer this and many other weird medical questions.

I plan on releasing this book as a ring.

Take Care!

8 out of 10

I received this Friday in the mail, just in time to take with me on a weekend trip. So this JE is both "I have it" and "I read it."

My favorites were Chapter 1 - You Are What You Eat, Chapter 2 - Body Oddities, and Chapter 9 - Getting Older. Thanks for the read and the knowledge!

PMing Well-Chilled and will get this one on the move again as soon as possible.

Journal Entry 8 by well-chilled from Anchorage, Alaska USA on Wednesday, August 09, 2006

This book has not been rated.

This came in the mail today. I started reading it in Turtle Sex Park, but my pale Irish skin was a burning in the sun so I had to head for cover. I'll finish it and send it along quickly. It'll probably go in the mail next week sometime.

4 out of 10

I was a bit disappointed. Some questions were addressed, poked fun at but never answered. Even the answer had been I don't know, but nothing. I like the way they used the party scenario to break the book into chapters by 'topic', but the IM conversations seemed pointless. I felt like I knew or had heard the answers to most of those questions before, in Charlie Brown's Q&A book or something. The only one that seemed new to me, as though I'd not heard it before was the info about how the whole carrots being good for your vision thing got started-and I'm not even sure it was new.
Anyay. It's done. I hope the next readers enjoy it as much as the previous readers have. I'll send it out once I get an address back from the next person in line, whom I pm-d yesterday.

I'm still waiting on the address of the next person in line. I've also PM-d randomelement to see how long she would like me to wait before moving on to the next person. Just trying to keep it moving.

Arrived today, amazing for a book mailed from Alaska. It's a slim little thing. I'll start reading it soon.

2 out of 10

As the daughter of two doctors, I knew most of the answers to these questions and couldn't care less about the rest. I hated the interspersed dialogue and attempts to make the Q&A layout of the book into a cohesive story. I thought the portrayal of the authors and their relationship to be annoyingly smug and consciously precocious. Maybe it's a guy/girl thing?

PMing the next in line for their address. 10/1/06 - Mailing to Bulfinch.

Journal Entry 14 by Bulfinch from Mesa, Arizona USA on Saturday, October 07, 2006

Received from mellonhead earlier this week. (Thanks for the post card!) Have already read half of it, so will be sending along very soon.

5 out of 10

Learned a few things that I didn't know, but most of it I thought was redundant and/or incomplete information. I have to agree that I did not find any value in the interspersed Instant Messenger dialog between the two authors. But, it was a light enough read that the time invested was pretty minimal. I will say that after reading, I found my thoughts wandering back to the book during my day... like when I had the hiccups, etc. Actually, that part was just a little creepy.

Fireflywishes has asked to be skipped, so I am mailing the book out to Aliciayoung in the morning. (10/13)
