If you liked American Gods, you'll probably enjoy Anansi Boys. Despite some frightening and violent portions, it's very sweet (but not saccharine) and funny. A thoroughly enjoyable read.

Nice. The more Gaiman I read, the more I like him. My pre-Gaiman thoughts on Fantasy as a genre in general were always "I hate that crap!" I like having my eyes opened. If a work of fiction can do that, even better.

I have a strong feeling that this book is next headed to a fellow BCer who has been generous to us in the past.
