It took me a year to unbury this from Mount TBR. Very well-written story of a dysfunctional Southern family (is there any other kind?) and dogs and girls and ghosts. The major characters are compelling and the story moves at a brisk pace, or at least it did for me because I needed to know what would happen next. Love the dolpin slide sequences! I hope the next reader enjoys this one as much as I did. Another reader will get to take it home from the TOC luncheon today.
