In Jacquelyn Mitchard's note to readers (front of the book), she states that "Cage of Stars" is the best book she has writen and I can't agree more. I absolutely loved this book. It is quite different from any of her other books (at least of those which I have read).
The author successfully provides an insightful look at the impact of violence from various perspectives; that of the victims as well as the perpetrators family. I also came away with a better understanding of the Mormon religion in comparison with other religions . . . it is always good to be able to shed some of the misunderstandings that tend to divide.
In "Cage of Stars" I loved how the author not only wove an amazing story, but how she was able to connect peoples lives based on the Chinese legend of the red thread. "An invisible red thread connects those who are designed to meet, regardless of time, place or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but will never break."
As of today this book is on its way to perlacantabrico. Enjoy.

Hello,Everybody.Just to say I am very sorry for having this book so long, long time,I hope you excuse me, please. This year has brought me a unexpected pregnancy and I felt too sick for reading.I´d been wery confused too, for the pregnancy. Now, I have a baby girl who is three months old and is lovely. She has come to bring love to our family and complete it. All of us are so happy...
Just to say the book is beautiful, so sad in the beginning and so happy in the end. It has helped me to know and understand the Mormon religion which isn´t usual at all in Spain. The writer is very good, I didn´t know her and I think she is going to be among writers I love to read. The book is very, very, good.I think is good for teenagers , too.
Sorry again. The book is going back to U.S.A.
