I wanted to check in. 2006 was the first year, literally in 15 years, when I did not make at least one trip to Monterey. This was indeed unexpected. I still plan on saving this book for my Monterey mass release; I am sure I'll make it there sometime in 2007. Thank you for being patient; your book will be released in Monterey or Salinas area.

I found this book in the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the perfect place! It has some amazing passages and a ton of information about sea life. But, unless you like long lists of sea creatures and descriptions it can get a little boring. Still, it was worth it. I'll take it with me to PA and release it there. Oh, and while I was reading it I broke up with my boyfriend (yikes) so I can't say it brought any luck. But, seeing as it an inanimate object, I suppose I can't blame the book. I hope it brings better luck to the next person!

I had called off work and decided to spend a raining day at Kiva Han and then the library - I found this book up in the loft of kiva han. I have just started reading it and once I'm finished I will probably give it to a friend in Erie to pass it on. I think this is a really cool idea and I am going to do it with some books that I've already read.
