But why, oh, why didn't I learn from your mistake? I read about half the book before I rented the DVD. I did like the film alot more this time, now that I have read the book. The best part of the DVD: interviews in which the actors were asked if they believe vampires really exist. Antonio Banderas (Armand, see image above) waxes poetic about what vampires symbolize, though of course they don't really exist; Stephen Rhea (Santiago) is more cautious--he seems unnerved by the question, then hems and haws and refuses to say vampires don't exist. |
