Sent to me as a participant in a book ring - can't wait to read this one as I've heard many good things about it.
Loaned to me by a friend. A fantastic book - once I started reading it I couldn't put it down!
Absolutely loved this book, but the ending devastated me. I literally cried until I threw up and gave myself a headache! I wish I'd have known it had such a sad, sad ending.
Beautifully written with characters to fall in love with, this book is a must to read, particularly for those who are romantic at heart. But be warned it has a very, very sad ending!
Time to go on to the next person in the bookring - I'll post as soon as I get their address.

I finished this book at precisely 3:09am this morning. I just couldn't put it down!
I found, that as with many really good books I've read, it left me feeling vaguely dissatisfied. I wanted to know more, I wanted it to end differently, I'm not sure what I wanted, because reading the book, even though it jumps around a little it still seems to present itself as the most rational, probable and maybe even possible series of events for it's own particular world.
I'm not sure about the swearing. It sort of startled me each time I came across a word I wouldn't use around my mother, and yet thinking about it, it was a sort of integral part of the flow of the whole story. That was clearly the best way to write the book, and at the same time, it still succeeded in startling me, especially when I was hearing Clare's voice.
I also found it weird that I should be reading this book now. I am right in the middle of trying to find music I like, and I've been looking up all sorts of bands and musics, including some of the bands mentioned in the book. Only a few months ago I wouldn't have had a clue who anyone mentioned was, except Prince of course :P. As it is, I only know a few of the bands mentioned, but still, it's nice to read them talking about the music, and be able to summon some of it to my mind. Not that punk is really my music, I've decided it's not too bad, but not the best thing I've ever heard.
Anyway, back on topic, I liked this book very much.

Yey! This book is now safely home. Hope everyone enjoyed it. Thank you so much for participating in my first little book ring. Will now send out to some non-bxing friends and see if we get any journals from it :)
