How it works:
- If you wish to be added to the list, please PM me with your details.
- We will kick off once we have 5 members.
- You will be sending the book to the person who appears after you in the list, so you need to PM them to get their address!
- It's not a race, but please read and send the book on as speedily as you can, other people are dying to read it too.
- Please journal the book once you have received it (so we all know where it currently is) and again when you have read it (so we know what you thought of it!)
- If you're the last person on the list (i.e. we run out of members) the book comes back to me until there are more interested parties...

This was a fascinating read. I oprobably wouldn't have bought the book, it isn't my usual read, but I found it gripping. Sent off to lucy58. Hope you enjoy it Lucy

This is so beautifully written that I didn''t want to gt to the end of it. Even though there were parts of the book where not a lot seemed to hppen, the beauty and poetry of the language was enough to keep me gripped.
Carol Shields has a fine ear for the way real people use language and how their way of speaking changes over the years - the conversations throughout the book seem very real.
Daisy Goodwill is an interesting character and hr journey through life was moving and enjoyable.
The book is now on its way to followdream.
Thanks for sharing.

It was waiting in my mailbox today. Thanks arturogrande for sending it. I'm looking forward to read this higly praised story.
I agree with Arturogrande. The poetic of Carol Shield's language is wonderful. I found myself surprisingly hooked to these diaries although there was not much action. I loved the way different persons, viewpoints, styles of thinking and times are interwoven.
brought it to the post office today. Have a safe journey dear book to Wandering B!
Sorry, forgot to jounal as received. Finished reading and I can say it was an interesting book. It was interesting to see how things changed for Daisy, but at the same time her basic situation remained the same. Rather sad, actually, and I felt a great deal of compassion for her. Will PM anthings and see if there is a response. If not, I'll contact AliceF for instructions.
Thanks, AliceF for passing this one around!
