The first third of this book was so difficult to get through that I almost gave up reading it at all. The second third, however, completely caught my attention and could even be described as a page turner. It's too bad the last third of the book fell right back into pattern of the first third, but I had to finish it by that point.

I'm sending this out on a bookray to see what others think of it.

Well, I was hoping to disagree with your comments, BooksAndJava, but I can't really. I was right into it in certain spots, but when I had finished it, I thought, "hmph". Nothing was really a surprise, which is maybe what I was waiting for after all the buildup in the middle section - I could guess all the multinational conspiracy business, as it does seem to be in the news all the time these days. So it was a bit of a disappointment.

But I gave it six stars anyway, because it was certainly engrossing in parts! I have PM'd spiritinflight for an address and will have the book on its' way once I hear back. Thanks for the ring!
