This is the very first romance book I read. Yes, I'm a very late bloomer.
I read a lot all my life, mostly newspapers, short stories in magazines, sides of cereal boxes, backs of cleaning supplies. Uh huh, I was a bathroom reader. I admit it. Well as the mother of six, it was the only time I was alone. But then the older ones went to college and the youngest started school full time and I found all these books in the basement. My girls had been reading these "trashy novels". I threw a few out and then one day, tired of cleaning, I sat down and read one. It was like the scene from Taxi where Rev. Jim has his first pot laced brownie. I was hooked. Five years later I found Bookcrossing and now I have a new addiction. I'm passing this on in the hopes that someone will find the cure.

Lol KarmelK! I saw your JE a couple of days ago and it really made laugh :) You need a way to remember it - my favourite is Carolyn Nearly Fell Off The Planet. (It's a typo by the way lol)

Apologies! Due to a massive downpour yesterday afternoon this book missed the Post Office. I have managed to read the first chapter and I am a little sad to let it go. But, this book must *fly* in order to get to Canada, so it's off in the post to louisesalter today...

Yahoo, it arrived in time for the Canada Day challenge. I will take it with me to release on Canada Day in Riding Mountain National Park. I am the fifth journaller in the third country so it definitely counts as a well-travelled book. Thank you KarmelK for thinking of sending this book on its travels, to cnfotp for coming up with the Well-Travelled Book Challenge and to louisesalter and jenny72 for sending it on its way. I love the book label KarmelK!

Let's hope this book finds a fifth journaller (crossing my fingers).

I left this book on a sign in the campground which was located between the fully serviced and electrical serviced sites. Later that day when I checked it was gone. This release is for the 2006 Canada Day release challenge (to release books about Canada or by Canadians from June 24 to July 3) and for the Well-Travelled Book challenge.

Spending the weekend at the campground with family and we did alot of walking. I noticed the book on a little cement post and something in me clicked. I had heard about this program a while ago on CBC radio. I picked the book up and since it is very light "beach reading", I was able to read it quickly. I have never read a "Harlequin" before! My university education was in English and language studies and my reading is generally somewhat "heavier". Anyway, I enjoyed the book and plan to send it on> It brightened my weekend and I shared the little info I had about this organization with several fellow campers.
