"The classic coming-of-age story set during World War II about the enduring spirit of youth and the values in life that count."
I read this book as part of the 2016 Oldest TBR Reading Challenge, and I'm glad I did. I thought that Josh made for an entertaining narrator. I liked the relationships he formed with the people of Corazon Sagrado, and I especially enjoyed the relationship (shown through letters) between Josh and his dad.
