having a little trouble getting through this one just because it is so darn weird.
but there have been some classic lines I should share:

============================================

If you love something, set it free. Just don't be surprised if it comes back with herpes...

============================================

What you have to love about drinking is, every swallow is an irrevocable decision.

============================================

I'm about half way through and barely hanging on to finish, but I am determined because I am convinced that it will be all worth it in the end.

I am giving up on this one. It is just too bizarre for me. As in my previous journal there are some really memorable lines in it. It is just too weird and gory for me. I am raying this one out in the hopes that someone will enjoy it along the way.

This book is way too weird. At the beginning I found it quite amusing and thought, well this guy has a dry, off centre type of humour - which is fine ... and I managed to get halfway through ... too much gore , too bizzare.

I think the New York Times sums it up best :
" ... there is something here to appall almost every sensibility. The author has a singular knack for coming up with inventive new ways to shock and degrade."

On to froggirlwendy... hope you enjoy it :)

Had trouble getting into this one also. Maybe I'm not in the right mood or mindset at the moment. Odd sense of humour which is ok but I struggled too much with it so ended up giving up :o( I hate to not finish a book but sometimes it happens. Thanks icekween01 - sending to harry-sougin in the UK this afternoon.

What a strange book! This was my first Chuck Palahniuk read, weird. It is made up of 23 stories, some better than others. Most of the stories are outrageous and twisted. The characters are unreal. It is a fascinating, entertaining book. I''m glad I read it, will read more Palahniuk for sure!

Thank you very much for sharing this book icekween01. I am so sorry I kept it for so long! I will pass it along to the next reader very shortly!
