One of the best sellers of the Woosters

When I came home from my job interview (I don't think they will hire me) today there were two packages waiting for me. In one of them was The Secret History, a swap for The Woman & The Ape. In the other was this book. It was a very nice surprise, I waited for one book only. Thank you very much!

My father got quite seriously ill, and I felt really bad. I wanted to read, but nothing helped, I was crying all the time. Until I took this book and began to read. Bertram Wooster's problems, his stupid friends and relatives and the soup they cooked were so silly and had so little to do with reality of my life, that reading eased my anxiety. I've always liked Wodehouse and now I like him even more. Thank you for this, benacre:) (My father is better now.)

I took this book to our local meet-up and it got a new home.

The fact that this book surfaced at the Helsinki meet made me happy, because I desired (yet didn't buy) some of Wodehouse's books that were on sale at a flea market not long ago. Thanks for sending it my way!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I left the wonderful Code of the Woosters on a statue pedestal on Vokiečių g. number 8 as part of a Finnish statue release challenge. This is a wonderful, witty and humorous narrative about the English (high) class society. The aristocrats are grumpy, Bertie is foolish and he has good intentions, but the incredible mess into which he gets can only be solved with the professional help of his gentleman's gentleman Jeeves, who moves in and out of the room like a current of air. I was watching Jeeves & Wooster on DVD while reading this. What ho, I say it's a great combo! I hope the rain didn't ruin the paperback. I also hope you'll enjoy it and maybe leave a word here to let us know where the book is going. Thank you for the previous hands as well!
