Now in bite-size mantras, the abridged empathetic wit and wisdom of the number one New York Times bestseller He's Just Not That Into You will recharge and inspire your dating outlook one wake-up call at a time. For ages women have come together over coffee, cocktails, or late-night phone chats to analyze the puzzling behavior of men. Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo are here to say that — despite good intentions — you're wasting your time. Men are not complicated, although they'd like you to think they are. And there are no mixed messages. The truth may be, he's just not that into you. He's Just Not That Into You — based on a popular episode of Sex and the City — educates otherwise smart women on how to tell when a guy just doesn't like them enough, so they can stop wasting time making excuses for a dead-end relationship. This book knows you're a beautiful, smart, funny woman who deserves better.

This book is very compact and reads fast. It is full of information that I spent my 20's trying to figure out. If Greg and Liz had released this book when I was 18 (I'm 36 now)it would have saved me a lot of trial and error dating. :-) Having said that, I can see that many women will not like what they read. It is hard advice to take. I'm mailing this today to froggirlwendy Thanks for sharing the book

I enjoyed reading this one - so many years would have been saved if this had been written long before now. Hindsight is wonderful. Thank you bibliocrates for this ring and randomelement for sending it my way long ago. Finally on its way to Dei - a million apologies for holding up this ring (I just took in too many rings and got lost in them all). Hugs :o)

Oh what lovely insights. I'm glad I joined this ring to know the dark secrets of what men are doing. Now everything just fits. Life is actually so simple but we just like to complicate things. Just sent a PM to next reader. Will post the moment I receive her address.

Arrived safely from Massachusetts. I have another ring to finish and then I'll start this one. From the other JEs it looks like information that would have been useful years ago. Thanks for sharing!

It is scary how obvious the points this book make are. It amazes me how much time I've wasted trying to be noticed by the men I've been interested in. Greg really makes it clear that if any of them wanted to ask me out they would have. I'm not that intimidating or scary. :D I definitely understand Liz's feeling about being alone and lonely and the statistics about the possibilities for women as they age. The advice I've gotten from this book will affect how I view dating and relationships in the future. Thanks to Bibliocrates for sharing this book and everyone else for passing it on. I'll get well-chilled's address and get it in the mail shortly.

Forgive me. I am guilty of stalling this book. I have found it, I have the address of the next person on hand. To be clear, I have had it for a long time!!! I just didn't journal it when I got it. Sorry. Anyway. I am wrapping it up now and will try to have it in the mail in the next week. To all those waiting for this, I am sorry for the wait. It is on it's way.

Journal Entry 15 by carriehhh from Shrewsbury, Shropshire United Kingdom on Tuesday, February 26, 2008
I'd forgotten I'd got my name on the list for this one! The book arrived at my parents' house yesterday and my mum opened the parcel over the 'phone so I'd know what book it was... cue very embarassing moment when she asked me if I had 'man trouble' (!). I'm at uni at the moment but will be home for Easter in a couple of weeks so my parents aren't going to forward it on. I'll read it as soon as possible and then send it on its way!

I am a bad, bad Bookcrosser! This book is with me (and it's safe!). Sorry that I've had it for so long, but do not fear - it has not been lost! Since receiving this book I've moved house twice, and I'm a bit scatter-brained at the moment anyway. What can I say... the book was really good (if a little obvious, and at times a little upsetting that there are women out there who would excuse the actions of idiotic men so much!) and my boyfriend also found the book pretty amusing when he saw it on my shelf. I'm in the process of posting this on!

Sorry, I read the book months ago, but I had it at my parents'. I enjoyed the reading quite a lot... now it is clear to me that many guys were not into me!!:D Anyway, taking it seriously, I think the "cultural" background should be taken into account. I am contacting the next on the list and send it. P.S: Happy New Year 2009:)
