When the story broke at TheSmokingGun.com, I thought Frey was a tool. But I just got this book and I'm already on page 144. The man can tell a story, and I like his voice. There are no quote marks and no paragraph indents, which takes some time getting used to. The thing that bugs me, though, is the capitalization. His style is that all people (except man, woman & friend) & places (plus some words relating to treatment) are capitalized, but it's inconsistent, which really slows my eye. |

I loved this book and also read 'My Friend Leonard' (the follow-up). There's a page in the back that tells you what happens to all the characters. I meant to tear it out but forgot in the rush to make the Christmas post. |
