From Publishers Weekly
The bestselling author of Something Borrowed and Something Blue now tells the story of what happens after the "I do"s. As a successful editor at a Manhattan publishing house, Claudia Parr counts herself fortunate to meet and marry Ben, a man who claims to be a nonbreeding career-firster like she is. The couple's early married years go smoothly, but then Ben's biological clock starts to tick. A baby's a deal breaker for Claudia, so she moves out and bunks with her college roommate Jess (a 35-year-old blonde goddess stuck in a series of dead-end relationships) while the wheels of divorce crank into action. Even after the divorce is finalized and Claudia embarks on a steamy love affair with her colleague Richard, she begins to doubt her decision when she suspects Ben has found a smart, young and beautiful woman willing to bear his children. Standard fare as far as chick lit goes, but there are strong subplots involving Claudia's sisters (one is coping with infertility, the other with a cheating spouse) and the childless-by-choice plot line produces above-average tension

This came in the mail today. I am just settling in to read the book before this, Something Blue. As soon as I am done with that one I will start this one and then send it on its way. Thanks so much for sharing.
Just got done wtih this book, and realized that I never journaled it.
I thought the book was ok. I know what its like one person wants kids, and the other doesn't. Not sure it ends the way this book does, but would be nice.
Thanks for sharing. PMing next person now for address, will mail as soon as I get it.

RELEASE NOTES:
Yey! It has arrived. Sorry for the panicked e-mail sweetpea. I'll get to this as soon as I finish my current read.
Thanks for sharing. I loved this book. Emily Giffin is very intelligent. I could really relate to the main character and can only hope that my own life will have that happily ever after.
Sharing this with a co-worker.
January 7, 2007 update:
I'm going to send this to my sister goldenhalo with her birthday package. She has read Something Borrowed already and liked it.

I'm going to send this to my sister goldenhalo with her birthday package. She has read Something Borrowed already and liked it.
Funny, witty, and a fast read.
got it from my sister
Although it was a rough start the novel proved to be just as good as Giffin's other works. I really liked the bit about Ethan and Darcy and the little girl on the way. I read half way through it and thought whoa wait is this my Ethan?? and sure enough she just couldn't resist introducing these characters into the novel. Ultimately it was a great read.
This one is going back to my sister because I think she enjoyed it as much as I did.
