The Dragon Reborn (The Wheel of Time, Book 3)
3 journalers for this copy...
Another try, after loosing my other copy... ;-)
Synopsis from Amazon:
"The Dragon Reborn - the leader long prophesied who will save the world, but in the saving destroy it - is on the run from his destiny. Able to touch the One Power, but unable to control it, Rand al'Thor knows only that he must face the Dark One. But how?"
I read #1 and #2 a while ago, but characters and story are very memorable, so I got back into it without any problems. I still like it, although it took my a while to make my way through those 700 pages. The books would work as stand-alones, although I recommend to start with the first one for maximised fun. Just ignore that it reads like a rip-off of LOTR at first glance.
My favourite characters in #3 are Perrin and Egwene. I don't mind that there was very little about Rand, as I don't actually like him that much.

Mini Bookray. Please journal when you get the book, so we know it's safe. Check with the next one if they still want the book, before sending it on. Let us know, when you sent it on and a little comment how you liked it would be great. Enjoy the book!

arrived safely - thanks
EDITED 2ND MARCH: A very good continuation of the storyline, with the characters all developping nicely and the main plot whizzing along. Now in the mail to the next person on the list.

The book has finally arrived in Germany's beautiful capital. Right now I don't have much time to read, so it might take a little longer, but will be sent on right away once I have finished.
I hope Perrin develops further. I like his falcon. And I hope Rand doesn't snap too soon.
Anyhow: Is there anybody in Germany who wants the book?
