Journal Entry 1 by KateKintail from Burke, Virginia USA on Saturday, May 13, 2006
The first book in the Earthsea Trilogy. I read this as a child and fell in love with Ged instantly.

From the back: In his day Ged, called the Sparrowhawk, became both dragon lord and Archmage. His story is told inmany songs, but this is the haunting tale of a proud, lonely boy in the time before his fame.
It is a tale of wizards, dragons and shadows played out in Earthsea, a world of numberless islands and vast oceans where mages, looking for adventure, wandered, working magic...

Bought at a library book sale.

This book had in it a note from Shannon (of San Diego, CA) to Lisa (of Burke, VA). There's no date on the note, but I'm assuming it means this book belonged to someone named Lisa :-)
