This was an interesting book. Most of us wonder how a woman or man for that matter, ends up in the pornography industry as Traci Lords did at a very early age.

This biography does give the reader quite a bit of insight into how Traci ended up in that world, but I came away feeling that Traci herself still doesn't see the reasons she made the decisions she made, and sees herself as a victim, when in many cases, she did have different choices.

It is informative and interesting, and worth reading, but I didn't feel as sympathetic for Traci as I thought I would.
