Strange novel from 1969. Budgie Bill is a tramp but not an ordinary one. He wears a fawn-colored overcoat with wing collars and an ancient trilby and visits the countryside in the daytime and cities at night. He always walks backward and lies down instead of sitting and his tears can heal rabbits. A quick read, but nothing special.
