Mister God, This is Anna
3 journalers for this copy...
Bought @ Buecher Brocky in Zurich, an enormous and fantastic second hand bookstore :-)
I first read this book many years ago as a teenager / student and I can't remember who introduced me to Anna. I know that my original copy is in a box in my parent's attic, but I found this in my local charity shop and just had to buy it :-)
I re-read it again last night in a couple of hours in bed and had that lovely feeling of coming home to a much loved friend. Anna is wonderful and this book is chock full of ideas :-)
p.73
"I had been taught the good old-ashioned method of question first, answer second. Now I was being taught be a half-pint red-headed demon that almost every sentence, grunt, number or utterance was the answer to an unutterd question."
p.134
"Question were a sort of inner itch, an urge to go forwards. Questions, that is real questions, had this about them, they were risky things to play about wiht, but they were exciting. You never quite knew where you were going to land."

This is off on a secret mission to a bookcrossing and LJ friend of mine :-) I was wondering who would appreciate this book and then as i was reading, the name literally jumped out at me :-)
