Fast read. I read it in one sitting. The cases kept me guessing for the most part. At times I still didn't know how Miss Marple actually solved the case. But very good read.

Will be sending it out as soon as I can.

I've always love Agatha Christie, these short stories were good. I still think her novels are better though. I will be reading the Poirot stories tomorrow.

As mentioned in the Poirot short stories journal entry, I had this book a bit longer than planned but it's now on its way to Donduckandy.

Even I find it hard to believe that I've never consciously read an Agatha Christie book before now! So when Smurphie offered a double ring of Christie short stories, it was a must-join. I'm glad that I did. These days I'm into incremental reading and short stories are just the thing for my divided attentions.

Since my memory insists that I've never read an Agatha Christie, I went into this ring not wanting to find favorites but to instead discover what her writing's all about. This set of stories was fun to read and easy on the mind. Nothing too intricate.

Smurphie, thank you so much for the postcard and bookmark! I'm a collector of both and so they mean that much more to me.

Journal Entry 20 by LadyCrymsyn from Itasca, Illinois USA on Sunday, January 20, 2008
An excellent introduction to Miss Marple. While Poirot remains a favorite, these stories were just the right length to get to know Miss Marple. Thanks, Smurphie! This is now winging its way back to you!
