OK - so not a wild catch! I promise I'll wild release it properly once I've read it.
I love Jane Austen, but had actually not read this before. I enjoyed it but found the last 10 pages of so rather strange - rather than the usual Austen style of relying heavily on dialogue and writing through a particular character (which tells you as much about them as what is going on) she goes into a pretty detached narrative style. It almost seemed like she had so many loose ends to tie up that she felt this would be the most efficient way of doing it. Whilst Pride & Prejudice is almost the opposite and really luxuriates in all the last details of the story in such a relaxed way you're not sure when it will end, this spends most of the time gradually building up to a dramatic climax and very quickly tidies itself up again.
That said, I still enjoyed it, even if I found Fanny Price a bit wimpy. Some of her asides and soliloquies near the end of the book though reveal that she has a bit more to her than the meek and put upon poor cousin.
I'll try and think of a suitable place to release this.
