Alessandra Cecchi is not quite fifteen when her father, a prosperous cloth merchant, brings a young painter back from nothern Europe to decorate the family chapel in their Florentine palazzo. A child of the Renaissance, with a precocious mind and a talent for drawing, Alessandra is intoxicated by his talent. As Medici Florence is threatened by the hellfire of the monk Savonarola, the painter and his dazzling art exert an ever more powerful and erotic pull.

RELEASE NOTES:
I've heard good things about this author and I was curious, so this book came home with me. Thanks! :o)
I'm moving to a new apartment and will be busy for a while, so I won't have much time to read in the meantime. I decided to release a couple of the BookCrossing books I have with me, so they can continue on their travels. This one is going to butterfly-noir, as a RABCK. Enjoy!
