From the back cover:
'A terrific book...fresh, original, smart, devious and crammed with absorbing lore.' -- Margaret Attwood
After the tragic sinking of a cargo ship, 1 solitary lifeboat remains bobbing on the wild, blue Pacific. The only survivors are a 16 year old boy named Pi, a hyena, a zebra (with a broken leg), a female orang-utan....and a 450-pound Royal Bengal tiger.
Winner of the Man Booker Prize 2002.
Happy Reading!

I read this book last year, and it really was my favourite book of 2005. It has everything - mystery, intrigue, adventure, philosophy - keeps you guessing right up to the end and thinking about it long after. A truly wonderful book and read.
