Bought in a charity sale at Lochgilphead to read and release.
finally got round to reading this book and really rather enjoyed it - I'd bought it because it was a 'classic' and wasn't sure if I'd like it, but I'd like to read the other Sherlock Holmes book on the 1001 list now too. Rather ashamed that it sat on Mt TBR for 7 years but I'll get it moving soon as it's going into the European 1001 VBB.
I'm afraid this is a rather battered 1975 paperback which has obviously had an interesting life before it came to BC - some of the pages are a little loose but it's still readable.

went all round the country in my bookbox (I must have forgotten that I'd set it aside for the European 1001 VBB) but no takers - I'm going to offer some 1001 RABCKs soon so I'll see if anyone would like it then.
