This is safe in my hands, thanks for sharing it, LadyBookWyrm. This has been on my wishlist for quite some time, so I'm anxious to give it a read. I'm just finshing up another book currently, but this will be up next, and I'll journal when I'm through.

from Publisher's Weekly:
The time is roughly the present, and the U.S. is part of the Vast Machine, a society overseen by the Tabula, a secret organization bent on establishing a perfectly controlled populace. Allied against the Tabula are the Travelers and their sword-carrying protectors, the Harlequins. The Travelers, now almost extinct, can project their spirit into other worlds where they receive wisdom to bring back to earth—wisdom that threatens the Tabula's power.

I thought this was a highly entertaining story; the characters were interesting, the plot fact-paced, and I, too, was happy to hear this is the first installment in a series. I will have to get a copy for my PC, as my other-half would surely enjoy this as well.

Thanks for sharinng it,LadyBookWrym, and as I have already received Ceili's addy, I will send it along on my next PO run.

Even though I don't typically read science fiction, I really enjoyed this book. I occasionally had problems keeping some of the characters sorted out, but that's probably just me :( I, too, am glad to see that there will likely be a sequel. I've PMed kelleyanne for her info. a couple of times, so as soon as I get that, this will be in the mail.

Journal Entry 7 by Lobodyke from Bardstown, Kentucky USA on Friday, November 10, 2006
kelleyanne replied that she has gotten the book from another source, so I'll contact the next person in line -- LyekkaMarengo -- for his/her address to hopefully move this along.

Journal Entry 12 by Quez45 on Wednesday, January 10, 2007
I just received this book on Jan. 9 as part of a bookray. I have another book that I need to get through first so this one will be next.

Journal Entry 13 by Quez45 on Thursday, April 19, 2007
I thought this book wasn't too bad. I would like to have seen a character development involving Maya that involved her giving more into her feelings for Gabriel rather than maintaining her Harlequin mentality. Also, I would like to have found out what happened to Michael.

Off to moraelyn!

Journal Entry 14 by moraelyn from Rialto, California USA on Friday, April 27, 2007
Arrived safely here, and I'm glad to see I'm the last on the list, so that I can take my time. Thanks for sharing this LadyBookWyrm.
