Journal Entry 1 by angrylibrarian from Brisbane, Queensland Australia on Sunday, April 16, 2006
Marian Keyes' latest novel is about the fourth Walsh sister, Anna. Unlike her sisters' books (Watermelon, Rachel's Holiday, Angels), it is not so much about finding love, but about working through grief and loss. It wasn't as funny as some of her other books (e.g. Last Chance Saloon, Sushi for Beginners), but it made me laugh and cry in equal measures. A beautifully written, witty book with real heart that gave me a great Marian fix.

Journal Entry 3 by Palta from Vancouver, British Columbia Canada on Sunday, May 28, 2006
Picked it up at Turks on the Drive. Friend took it to read and just returned it. She thought it was a bit too much like Keyes' other books but enjoyed it anyway.

Read it in a day. Great book, one of her better ones. Don't know if I should return it to Turks or wait to leave it somewhere on my summer travels
