Yippee! Yet another new-to-me Miss Silver mystery. I can't put it at the top of the to-be-read pile, but when my book-ring obligation's done ... what a treat.
Thank you!

I chose this from the Mystery Book Box. I am looking forward to reading it.
I enjoyed this book. It is set in England during World War II, and centers around the residents of one building which has been divided up into eight flats. One thing I thought was interesting was that, except for a brief appearance near the beginning, Miss Silver doesn't even join the story until about halfway through the book. During the first half of the book, you get to know the characters (the residents of the building). Then the murder occurs, and the police and Miss Silver come in to investigate.
I offered this up on the "Death" book relay, and it was accepted. I mailed the book yesterday. Enjoy!
came in today's mail-thank you
This one just wasn't my cup of tea after reading the back cover. it is available for trade.

I can never resist a new-to-me mystery.
Coincidentally enough there were three people prior to me in the shipping order ~ and by luck I chose a book from the box included in the box by all three of you guys.
I thought it was funny.
:O)
Thanks again for including this book....
I have another "TBR" book on my stack!
(After I had just whittled it down, too!! LOL)
:)
I have replaced this book with "Inca Gold" by Clive Cussler.
The bookbox will now be mailed out to booknose on Saturday, February 14th.
How FUN!
