I work for a pet industry trade magazine. We get animal books for review submitted by publishers. I get to bring them home when we are finished with them. I was especially interested in this one because proceeds from the book go to Canine Companions for Independence, which trains service dogs for disabled people. My sister works for them as a dog trainer (at the Dean Koontz Campus, no less).

This book got a trifle twee at times, with the whole "written by a dog" gimmick, but it is a good look at how to live your life to the fullest. Trixie sure seems to have a great life--chew toys, treats, swims in the pool...makes me wish I was a dog... Mailed to appaloosatb as part of a book relay.

Thanks for the book! Sorry I didn't journal it sooner, I thought I had done so when it arrived *blush*.
