I think it is kind of funny. This book has a sci-fi and western feel to it. Those are the only 2 genres I really don't like, but somehow it works in these books and I can't put them down. I think it is because it is still Stephen King. These books are different from his usual horror stories, but essentially they are still him. His writing style which I have enjoyed since I was a pre-adolescent reading Pet Cemetary, It, and The Stand is still there easily recognizable amid this epic.
