Journal Entry 3 by Geroedelheimer from Ravensburg, Baden-Württemberg Germany on Thursday, August 9, 2007
It was a great emotional experience to find this book - or better: it somehow has found me. It was waiting in front of the Durnoch Cathedral on the Eastern coast of Scottland, near the old stone market pole. A great joy overwhelmed me when I saw it and realized that indeed, it had not been forgotten or lost. I pressed it on my chest and was very very happy.

But I must admit something: I have loved the movie - but the German version of the book, which a neighbour had given me a few years ago, was not a lecture I got into. And normally I read the books before watching the correponding movie. But now, as the book has crossed my way in the English version, I''ll be glad to have a second try.

The friend I was in Scotland with (great country! Not to be missed!) had the excellent idea to release it on my next journey which will lead me in October to the Baltic states. And so, the adventure continues!

Many greetings from a new Bookcrossings fan!
