A big thank you to Pookledo for bringing this book from my wish list to the annual meetup of the UK BookCrossing Group, The UnConvention.
It’s one of my all time favourite books and it’s going in my permanent collection. I've read it three times. The first time, I was very young and I didn't understand it all. Since then I've read it twice as an adult and have been stunned by its raw, passionate power. It's such a classic that it's easy to assume that it's overrated but it's not - it really IS that good. This is a lovely copy too - a red hardback with gold lettering. :-)
