Margaret Attwood is one of my favourite authors, so I'm looking forward to reading this one. I picked it up for nothing at one of Forest Recycling's Give Or Take days. I took along lots of unwanted clutter from my home and came back with an armful of free books... what a great concept!

It's taken me over 14 years to get around to reading this book! For 2021 I've decided to read at least 26 novels, covering authors from A to Z. I'm starting the new year with Margaret Attwood and so far I'm really enjoying this well-written tale.

I love Margaret Attwood's writing, though this story dragged on a bit for my liking. I think I'll read a few shorter books now, as I don't have the stamina for 600 pages of small print! I'll be leaving this in my local Little Free Library and hope it finds an appreciative reader.
