The story is scary to be totally honest. Not gorey, just real life OMIGOD this could happen, scary. The female lead is a social worker who answers a call through a helpline. The call is from a small boy who is terrified. You have to read the book so I don't give it all away.

I'm friends and neighbors with the author and I'm blown away by his talent. He penned this novella when he was still in college and now he's working on a rewrite of it hoping to find a new publisher.
