From the back cover:

"Chanting, hooded figures gather inside a ring of ancient stones, using rituals of blood sacrifice to awaken the sleeping evil of the Ogri.

The Doctor and Romana go from the countryside of present day England to a deep-space cruiser trapped in hyperspace in their attempt to track down an alien criminal, and unravel the mystery of the Stones of Blood.

Luckily they have the help of the faithful K9...

'Terrance Dicks is a skilful professional story-teller... He has deftly recaptured the programme's popular blend of hectic menace and humourous self-mockery.' - British Book News"

Received with thanks for the 2006 Australian BookCrossing Convention. As this one unfortunately didn't make it in time for the Convention it will be going to Adelaide November Meetup instead.

Thanks for supporting our convention :)

I happend to be at the Uiversity of South Australia's City West Campus about a year ago. There on a desk was this book with a postit note saying "free" so I grabbed it, thinking it to be a possible collectors item.
Since then I have been so busy with study that I hadn't given it another look.
Yesterday while cleaning my study ready for this years Uni, I had a closer look and found that it was a free book meant to travel from owner to owner.
So I will be releasing this book. Probably on the train on my way to Uni next week.
